Creativity

Why some people are called creative and others not?Sometimes we decide about the person from appearance or reputation, but usually we look what the person has done. It does not matter what will be done creative-cooking,playing,learning. Everything can be done creative.
It is stated that creative people are those, who are open for new experience, they do not keep standarts and norms, are not very honest, more confident in theirselves. They value theirselves very much, are ambigous, want to dominate, are impulsive. Also we can include independance, intraversion, wide interests, intuition, toleration.
It is proved that creativity is related to intelect. High IQ is more related with creative behavior. However, very creative architechts',scientists',engineers' IQ usually is not higher than not so creative their collegues.
In my view everybody agrees that creativity is a positive characterisctic.

Online listening podcasts

The first podcast that I listened was about woman' pregnancy.I chose this theme, because during this year one of my best friends is pregnant and everything about this period is interesting for me.There people were talking about the influence of smoking to newborn,so I had an chance to imagine how smoking affects baby's health. There were said about illnesses and disorders that starts because of smoking and this information affected me and made me sad.
The listening was not difficult, but the rate of speaking was quite fast. I have listened this podcast two times and it was sufficient for me to understand what was said. The vocabulary was quite easy, but there were some words that I was not able to understand, so I had to use dicionary.
The second listening was also useful for me,because the theme was about computer influence to our eyes. There were said some exerices how to save the eyes, how to behave with computer that our helath would not be damaged. Also there were mentioned the importance of caring children from computer, that they would save their eyes. This problem is actual in our sociality,so this is the reason why I chose exactly this podcast.
The rate of speaking was average, so I had not difficulties in understanding the words.I have listened this podcast two times. The vocabulary was more difficult than in the forst listening,so I used dictionary more than the first time.
To sum up I can say that this listening task was useful for me because of two reasons. The first is that my listning skills improved,of course, not very much, but the use of task helped for my English skills. The second reason is that the information in these podcasts were useful and important for me,it was related to the details in my personal life.

Psychology of laughter

Teachers of young children have always been aware of the crucial importance of play for learning, but humor also makes significant contributions to young children development. It builds vocabulary and both pre-reading and reading skills, helps solidify the child's kowledge of the world, supports creative thinking, builds social interaction skills, helps to cope with stress throughtout the adolescent and adult years.
It's important to know how the sense of humor changes during life and developing. There are two basic principles to keep in mind. One is that children's sense of humor reflects their new intellectual achievments.Humor, laughter is basically a form of intellectual play- play with ideas. Children have built- in tendency to have fun with newly developed skills- both physical and mental. Further, humor is also the funniest during the months (maybe even a year or two) after the time it can first be understood.
Lauphing first appears when children acquire a solid enough understanding basic features of their world to know that features are wrong or imossible. There are few stages, that shows what is funny for kids. The first one is called laughter at the attachment figure. You can find infants laughing at any unusual behavior of a parent, for example, waddling like a penguin or making silly faces. The second stage is treating on object as a different object.Kids start treating object as if the object were something else, for example, holding a shoe and saying" Hello, daddy".The third stage is misnaming objects or actions. For example, saying wrong names: cats will be called dogs, mammy will be called daddy. One more stage is pre- ridlde stage: transition period. Most chilren become interested in the verbal humor of older children around them. They hear other kids ask puzzling questions and then give what appear to be very arbitrary answers that are followed by laughter. When children tell these jokes, they typiclly laugh as soon as they tell them.
There is no period more delightful than the preschool years.
It is advisable to enjoy your own child's budding sense of humor and enjoy their enjoyment.

PSYCHOLOGY OF CONFLICTS

It is stated that conflict occurs when one individual or group perceives that another individual or group has caused or will cause harm.
We have emotional, cognitive and physical responses to conflict. These are important windows into our experience during conflict. By understanding our thoughts, feelings and physical responses to conflict, we may get better insight into the best potential solution to the situation. Firstly, emotional responses are the feelings we experience in conflict, ranging from anger and fair to despair and confusion. Secondly, cognitive responses are our ideas and thoughts about a conflict, often present as inner voices. Thirdly, physical responses can play an important role in our ability to meet needs in the conflict.
There is one kind of psychology, called peace psychology. A goal of it is to help people find peaceful means to satisfy their needs for security and identity. Social psycgologists and these, working in the field of peace psychology, are interested in reducing destructive conflict.
Because poor communication is often a cause of conflict, improving communication between sides can help resolve differences. Sometimes a third- part mediator, such as a marriage counselor, a courtroom judge or even the United Nations is needed. Conflict is sometimes reduced when the opposing sides work together on some common goal.It is called superordinate goal. For instance, nations that were previously at war can become allies when confronted by a common enemy.
To sum up,we have to try to avoid conflicts, but there is influence to conflict by culture, race, ethnicity differences, gender and sexuality, general and situational knowledge and previous experience.

Laziness
When we talk about laziness, there may be two types of people: those, who are lazy, but they do not care, and those, who care, who have problems because of their laziness.
What can cause laziness? The first reason is that laziness is useful for us. It let us to avoid responsability to decide, to make solutions. The second reason is that there comes an illusion of freedom- we are trying to prove for ourselves and for others that we do not do something, because we do not want it, not because we are lazy. Also there may be fair of future, of something, what is unknown for us and can be frightening. For example, we can ask ourselves: "will not it be worse?", so we are trying to put an unpleasant moment to further life, to avoid stress now.
So what are the solutions? Firstly, do not try to do hundreds of work at the same time. Do the list of what you must do an put it in order from the most important to the least. Then decide which work you are going to do firstly. Secondly, plan your work not for a month, but for a day. Write some kind of grafic, which would show which time you will do one or another thing. Thirdly, do not think how tired you are till the evening ends. On one hand, if a doctor said that you are ill, do not try too hard, but if not, do not lie to yourself yhat you can not to do something. Also do not say: " I hope it will go right", say: " I will do it!" . Believe in yourself, you are stronger than you are used to think.
Not only unknown persons are lazy, but celebrities, called stars, also. For example, Scarlett Johanson, whose parents had lot of diffliculties in her childhood to make her do some homework and other works.
To sum up laziness is not the best characteristic of a person, but il also may be useful. So as in all cases, we should be able to find the midlle, not to be too lazy, but also not to work too much. If a person' s level of laziness does not give him or her difficulties in personal and social life, than there is nothing to worry about.
Emotional literacy

Emotional literacy is the ability to express feelings with specific words. It’s very important to know how to express our feelings, to be able to communicate. Identification of our emotions also helps to identify feelings of other people.
This ability to name feelings is a form of power, and like all of the powers, it can be used not only to help, but also to hurt, so it’s very advisible to think what we are saying to others.
All of us have a natural emotional need to feel, for example, supported, listened to, understood, loved. It’s necessary to satisfy those needs especially for babes, because if not, a growing person might have a lot of problem in the future.
Everybody has a different level of knowledge about our emotions, only few are as smart in this area as they could be, so I think that talking about feelings, understanding and naming them is more useful and important to our life than we imagine.

My profession is psichology

Psychology was interesting for me since I was fifteen.I had a psychology lesson at school,so that was the first step to studying it.And now I am already a psychology student!I am very proud of it and I hope my studies will be successful.
It is very interesting for me to learn about human's mind, about problems that people have and I really hope that in the future I will be able to help them to find a solution in a difficult situation. It is very useful to understand about people' mind, because all information I will be able to use in my own personal life.
I have been studying this subject only for six months,so there is a lot of information I do not know yet,but the feeling when I get very useful and interesting information is great, ability to notice every detail, experience in studying is giving for me more than I expected.
It is a fantastic feeling, when I know, that I am in a right place, that I do that, what I really wanted to do,to go to university with the smile on my face because I know, that every hour I spend there gives me worthwhile experience.
